7 Stocking Stuffer ideas for Preschoolers

Buying stocking stuffers for preschoolers can be a challenge. My memory of stocking stuffers was candy, candy, and more candy! I don’t know about you, but I don’t want my 3 year old hopped up on sugar all day. I would rather use his stocking as an opportunity to give him some practical and fun things he needs and wants.

Today I am sharing the 7 stocking stuffers I purchased for my son (most were also purchased for my 1.5 year old daughter).

7 Stocking Stuffer ideas for Preschoolers

Crayola Bathtub Crayons

My kids love all of the crayola bath products. A friend clued me into them a few months ago and now we can’t get enough! They are a fun way to play with colors and you don’t have to worry about a big mess because the color washes right down the drain.

Bubble Bath

Another fun bath time activity. My son requests bubbles almost every time.

Fuzzy Socks

What’s not to love about a cozy pair of fuzzy socks? My kids live in these in the winter.

Gloves

Soft gloves are perfect for winter park visits, bike rides, and any other time you just need to get out of the house! I know I still try and get my kids out of the house most days – even in Winter. They are also fun to try on and play with on Christmas morning – giving you more time to caffeinate.

Apple Sauce Pouches

These apple sauce pouches are a big hit in our house. They are a such a nice alternative to candy on Christmas morning. Plus, what kid doesn’t love these pouches. They are so fun!

Hot Wheels

Hot wheels are perfectly sized to fit in stockings and kids love to drive them all over the house. Plus, they are really affordable!

M&M’s Candy Cane

It is Christmas and I can’t remember a single Christmas in my childhood where I didn’t get one of these candy canes, so this will be the one candy item my son receives.

There you have it, the 7 stockings perfect for your preschooler. I have personally packed all of these items in my preschooler’s stocking and had great success! Now, on to wrapping Christmas presents.

What will your stockings be filled with this year?

Great ideas for pre-schoolers. My 3 year old loves go go squeeze and the bath tub crayons sound just perfect.

These are awesome ideas, thanks! I’m always trying to find big stuff that will fill it up without being too expensive.
