Ingredients

  • 4 chocolate mini donuts
  • 8 mini pretzel twists
  • 8 candy eyes
  • 4 red jelly beans
  • 1/4 cup chocolate frosting

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients.
Ingredients laid out on a marble counter to make Reindeer Donuts
  • Using the frosting as glue, attach two pretzel twists to the top of the mini donut.
Adding miniature hard pretzels to a plate of store-bought chocolate donuts
  • Next, attach two candy eyes using the same frosting.
Homemade Reindeer donuts on a glass serving dish, sitting on a marble countertop and surrounded by additional ingredients, including a bag of pretzels
  • Finally, use the frosting to glue a red jelly bean to the mini donut as a Rudolph nose.
A batch of chocolate donuts, ready to be made into reindeer donuts, each with a red jellybean in its center as well as mini hard pretzels (acting as reindeer antlers)
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

If you go the homemade route by making your own donuts, then be sure they cool down completely before you start the decorating process. If you add frosting to warm baked goods (and in this case, the frosting for the donuts acts like the “glue”), then your frosting will melt right off and all of your donut decorations will slip off.
