Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar.
Cream together butter and sugar using an electric mixer, until light and creamy.
Add in vanilla and one egg and mix until combined.
Add in second egg and mix.
Pour in caramel sauce and mix until combined.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt to bowl. Give it a few stirs before mixing with the electric mixer so it doesn't shoot flour everywhere.
Mix on low until combined.
Fold in white chocolate chips.
Scoop heaping tablespons of cookie dough onto cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
Remove cookie sheet from oven and let cookies cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle a bit of sea salt on top of each cookie while still warm.
Remove cookies from cookie sheet and transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
Repeat with remaining cookie dough, until you run out.
