Instant Pot Corn on the Cob Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ears corn

Instructions

  • Start by shucking your corn. 
  • Add water and salt to the instant pot.
  • Place the trivet inside the instant pot and add the corn, stacked on top of each other, if needed.
  • Close the lid and set the pressure release valve to "sealing".
  • Press the manual or pressure cook button and set to 5 minutes on high pressure.
  • Once the cooking is finished, quick release the pressure. 
  • Remove the lid and take out the corn.
  • Serve topped with butter and salt.

Notes

You can cook as little as one ear of corn or as many as 8 ears of corn at a time. Corn on the cob can be cooked in any size instant pot, just make sure they fit inside your pot and don't go above the max fill line. The rest of the ingredients and cook time stay the same, regardless of the amount of corn being cooked.
