Instant Pot Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Easy to make instant pot garlic mashed potatoes are wonderful for paring with meatloaf of roast chicken. This instant pot recipe is also perfect for your holiday feast, like Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 2.5 pounds russet potatoes peeled
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced

Instructions

  • Pour potatoes, broth, and salt inside Instant Pot.
  • Close lid and set pressure release to sealing.
  • Press manual or pressure cook button and set to 8 minutes.
  • Quick release pressure.
  • Remove lid and drain broth.
  • Mash potatoes with a potato masher.
  • Pour in milk and mix.
  • Mix in butter until melted.
  • Fold in minced garlic.
  • Serve warm and refrigerate leftovers.
