4slicescountry-style white bread
4large eggs
1/4cupmilk
1tablespooncinnamon
1tablespoonpacked brown sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/4teaspoonnutmeg
1/8teaspooncloves
Cooking spray
Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
Preheat a griddle over medium high heat or 350°F.
Slice each piece of bread into 4 strips.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, and cloves.
Dip the bread strips into the egg mixture, flipping to coat both sides.
Spray the griddle with cooking spray and place the dipped pieces of bread on the griddle.
Cook for 3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3 mintues.
Work in batches, if needed.
Serve with maple syrup and enjoy!
