Ingredients
5cupswater
4cupslow-sodium chicken stock
1cupdiced chickenbreasts or thighs
4medium carrotsdiced
3celery stalks with leavesdiced
1yellow oniondiced
2teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoondried parsley
1teaspoondried oregano
1/8tspcayenne pepper
1bay leaf
1package egg noodles
Instructions
In a crockpot or slow cooker, mix together chicken stock and water.
Mix in the chicken, carrot, celery, onion, spices, and dried herbs.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Mix in the egg noodles and allow to cook for 5 minutes prior to serving.
Notes
Cooked chicken may be substituted for raw chicken.
