- 8 cups water
- 4 gala apples cored and quartered
- 2 Granny Smith apples cored and quartered
- 1 orange peeled and quartered
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Combine the water, apples, orange, cinnamon sticks, brown sugar, and cloves inside the instant pot.
Close the lid and set the pressure release valve to sealing.
Press the manual or pressure cook button and set to 25 minutes.
Quick release the pressure.
Remove the lid and mash up the fruit using a potato masher to release additional juices.
Press the sautte button and bring apple cider to a boil.
Let the apple cider simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn the instant pot off.
Strain the apple cider through a fine mesh strainer.
Serve warm or chill and serve.
Refrigerate any leftovers and consume within 10 days.
