I have always been a huge fan of stuffed mushrooms but was always intimidated to make them. To satisfy my cravings, I would constantly order them at restaurants because I always had this impression that they were complicated to put together.

Boy, was I wrong!

The best part? They’re even easier to whip-up when using the air fryer!

What Are Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms?

My Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms are filled with ground pork and a generous amount of parmesan and cream cheese. With every bite, you get some cheesy goodness, mixed with ground pork that has been seasoned to perfection. They are genius!

Do I Have to Cook the Meat Beforehand?

Yes, the ground pork filling must be cooked before being baked in the air fryer. The time that the stuffed mushrooms spend in the air fryer is not enough to thoroughly cook the meat.

How to Store and Reheat Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms

When storing leftovers, be sure they are cooled down completely. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3 to 5 days.

If you decide to freeze them, be sure to freeze them for up to 3 months. When preparing from the freezer, have them thaw out completely. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees and reheat for about 10 minutes or until completely heated through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound baby mushrooms
  • 1/2 pound pork sausage cooked
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese divided
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air fryer to 390ºF.
  • Wash mushrooms well and remove stems. Set stems aside.
  • In the bowl of a food processor, combine stems, cooked sausage, 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, garlic, and salt. Process until finely chopped, 20 seconds.
  • Use a spoon to fill each baby mushroom with prepared filling.
  • Sprinkle the top of each filled mushroom with remaining 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese.

  • Working in batches, carefully place stuffed mushrooms inside air fryer in a single layer.
  • Spray the tops of each mushroom with oil.
  • Air fry for 8 minutes, until tender and golden brown.
