How to make air fryer chicken strips with pretzel coating?
The pretzel coating for these chicken strips is really easy to make!
- Start by turning 2 cups of pretzels into crumbs using a food processor. If you don’t have a food processor, you an also turn them to crumbs by putting the pretzels in a ziplock bag and rolling them with a rolling pin until they turn into a small crumb.
- Mix the pretzels up with Panko breadcrumbs (they make the crispiest coating) and a handful of seasonings (garlic salt, smoked paprika, and Cajun seasoning).
- Dip chicken tenders (make sure you pat them dry) in a bowl of whisked eggs. Shake the chicken so the extra egg drips off.
- Dip the egg coated chicken in the pretzel mixture.
- Air fry for 14 minutes at 370 degrees, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (we recommend a simple meat thermometer for this).

This was so easy and delicious. I only cooked in air fryer for 10 minutes. My tenders may have been thinner.
