These 4th of July marshmallow pops are made with paper straws, red melting chocolate, patriotic sprinkles, and black licorice. Not only are they a tasty treat, but they make the perfect centerpiece. Just pop them in a mason jar or a DIY American Flag Vase.

How to make 4th of July Marshmallow Pops?

  1. Start by inserting paper straws (cut in half) into the bottom of each marshmallow. Plain marshmallows with blue and white striped paper straws stuck out of the bottom.
  2. Cut a small slit in the top of each marshmallow (opposite side of the straw).
  3. Melt red candy melts according to package directions. A small bowl of melted red candy melts
  4. Dip each marshmallow into the red candy melts. A marshmallow on a straw being dipped into the melted red candy.
  5. Immediately coat the bottom part of the marshmallow (the side with the straw) with sprinkles. 
  6. Place one small piece of black licorice in the top of each marshmallow – where the slit was cut. A plain marshmallow on a straw next to a red dipped marshmallow with black licorice sticking out the top and red, white, and blue sprinkles on the bottom.
  7. Arrange dipped marshmallows on wax paper to cool. 
  8. Once completely cooled, serve and enjoy!
