I love overnight oats because they are incredibly filling and also a healthy option. This recipe was created to taste like apple pie. Of course, it isn’t apple pie, but it certainly has the apple and cinnamon flavor! I added a bit of brown sugar, but you can use whatever sweetener you like. You can also taste-test it and add a bit more brown sugar if desired. Another tasty apple recipe we love is instant pot applesauce.

What does soaking oats overnight do?

Soaking oats overnight is an alternate to cooking them. Soaking oats in milk for a long period of time softens the oats and breaks down the starches.

Can I eat overnight oats after 2 hours?

Yes. The minimum overnight oats need to soak is for 2 hours. Technically, you do not have to soak them for a full 8 hours.
