How Can I Freeze Leftovers?

To freeze any leftover biscuits, allow them to cool down completely on a wire rack. Then, wrap them in plastic or aluminum and place them in a freezer bag. They can be frozen for up to three months.

How to Serve Frozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits

To serve them from the freezer, allow the biscuits to thaw in room temperature. Once thawed, bake them in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until heated through.

Ingredients
  

For the Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 large egg

For the Topping

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Combine flour, Cheddar cheese, butter, egg, milk, baking powder, salt, and garlic in a bowl.

  • Mix well.

  • Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and brush melted butter mixed with parsley on top.
