Banana Bread in an Air Fryer
I was craving banana bread, so I decided to experiment and see how it turns out in the air fryer. One word. AMAZING! I definitely like it better than banana bread in the instant pot and I might just like it better than banana bread in the oven. I think it’s a tie between the banana bread in jars recipes I shared last year.

The only thing is you can’t fit as big of a loaf in the air fryer (unless you are using and air fryer oven). This recipe makes two very small banana bread loaves. Each loaf serves 1-2. So it can be good if you aren’t trying to eat an entire giant loaf by yourself. But if you wanted to have some for that day and then the next day, good luck. My kids ate all of it in about 10 minutes.
What size loaf pan is used?
I used two baby loaf pans for this recipe. I had the Hefty disposable mini baby loaf pans, but you can also purchase reusable ones on Amazon, as well.

If you have a slightly larger baking dish that fits inside your air fryer, that will work, too. Just don’t divide it into two loaves. Make sure to check your banana bread with a toothpick to make sure it’s fully cooked. You may need an additional 5 minutes if cooking all of the batter in one baking dish.
What kind of air fryer was used to make this banana bread?
I tested this recipe in my Cosori Air Fryer Max XL. You can use any brand of air fryer to make this banana bread. As with any air fryer recipe, you will want to keep an eye on it the first time to determine if it’s going to need a slightly different cook time as all air fryers tend to cook a little differently.

Can you reheat food in air fryer?
Yes, you can! You can reheat this banana bread the next day or any other kind of baked good in the air fryer. Just set it to 300 and heat until warmed to your liking. It’s quick and easy and won’t make your food soggy!
