Make a big batch of these three ingredient instant pot apple bbq ribs in just an hour! They come out fall off the bone tender and perfectly sticky sweet.

Instant Pot Apple BBQ Ribs are the reason why I bought an instant pot electric pressure cooker in the first place. I wanted to cook large cuts of meat in a short period of time. I was not disappointed by this recipe.

These pressure cooker ribs come out perfectly tender and replacing the water with apple juice gives them an extra special flavor. We also love making pulled pork and ham in our instant pot!

How to make ribs in the instant pot?

I had not made ribs before owning an instant pot and I was impressed by how easy it was to make.

It’s a round metal rack that fits inside the instant pot. Your pot should have come with one and I have a taller one I purchased that I tend to use more often. Either should work just fine.

Our ribs were still bloody after the 35 minutes. We are new to the instant pot so maybe we did something wrong. We set it for 25 more minutes and still one bloody spot. We just put them in the oven and we will see what happens.

Hi Cheryl. I am sorry the cook time didn’t work for you. It could have been the rib size, if your rack of ribs was larger than mine. I hope they still turned out good for you in the end.
